 NEW ISO/PAS 17712:2010

Are you aware of the new High Security ISO/PAS 17712:2010 approved by U.S. Customs ?

-This new seal standard will include certifications and new associated test procedures. It will require that the bolt seals minimum diameter for the metal components (both male and female) be no less than 18 mm (This does not include the plastic cover that some manufacturers add to the body of the female). The actual metal chamber of the locking body (female) as well as the head of the steel bolt (male) have to be no less than 18 mm in diameter. So please be aware what is hiding underneath all that plastic because it may not be in standards with the new High Security ISO/PAS 17712:2010 requirements.  Please make a click here to view more information.
